TAXIS take a maximum of 4 passengers, and as the fares are
metered, you can be assured you're getting the right price.
You can flag a taxi at a taxi-stand or book one through their hotlines.
There is a booking fee if you call for one through their hotlines. The
booking fee varies according to the taxi company, the type of taxi, as
well as whether it is a current or advance booking.
There are also additional charges for trips from Changi Airport, morning
and evening peak periods, trips between midnight and 6am, public holidays,
and for the Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) scheme.

Singapore. SingTel and Starhub provide both fixed lines services and
mobile phone services, while M1 offers purely mobile phone services.

Internet Access
There are 3 Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in Singapore. The 3 ISPs are Singnet, Starhub Internet, and Pacific Internet. ISPs offer
a choice of 56K to broadband, from limited to unlimited access, and have

You have to obtain an import
license from the Agri-food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) at least two
weeks before the date of importing your pets. You can download
the application form to import animals/birds as personal pets from the AVA
website at http://www.ava.gov.sg. Send the completed form with the
required payment to:

Other items that you will require are:
- Health certificate- An orginal copy in English by a registered vet
from the country of export that certifies that the pet was inspected
no more than 1 week upon entry into Singapore.
- Vaccination card for dogs
- CITES (Convention On International Trade In Endangered Species Of
Wild Fauna And Flora) Permit for Export from Country of Origin, and
CITES Permit for Import from Singapore. This certifies that your pet
is not an endangered or protected species. A CITES Permit for Import
into Singapore can be downloaded at the AVA website.
- ISO Microchip for dogs
- Quarantine- pets imported into Singapore and not from Australia, New
Zealand, United Kingdom and Ireland, have to be quarantined at the
owner's expense for a minimum of 30 days at the Jurong Animal
Quarantine Station. Their contact information is:
